Bosch automates object tracking for HD PTZ AutoDome Series cameras 800

Bosch Security Systems has added the new intelligent auto tracking feature to the Pan-Tilt-Zoom AutoDome Series High Definition cameras. 800, with Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) integrated to constantly monitor movements in images.

Bosch Security Systems firmware version has been announced 5.52 for HD PTZ AutoDome Series cameras 800, which adds new intelligent auto tracking function. Smart tracking uses Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) integrated into AutoDome cameras to constantly monitor movements in images and automatically track objects that move within the cameras' field of view.

Customers can use Bosch VAT to stipulate conditions that instantly trigger tracking of objects – such as vehicles traveling through an area in a specific direction.. Operators can also activate object tracking by clicking on a moving object within the live shot area., for the camera to keep you in the image with pan-vertical and zoom actions. The camera will resume tracking the object after it passes behind a privacy mask or has been hidden by a stationary object.

The combination of a 2MP/1080p camera and 20x optical zoom ensures that no detail is missed, even license plates or facial recognition.
