D-Link shows the latest in Cloud technology with a roadshow through Spain and Portugal

D-Link, global provider of networking and communications solutions for consumers and businesses, will carry out a new edition of its channel event tour, under the title 'On D-Road'12', a roadshow that will focus on showing its new features and explaining to its partners how to improve the connectivity of their customers, reserving time to explain their IP video surveillance solutions and show in a demo how the free mydlink lite and D-ViewCam Mobile applications work.

The company D-Link has announced the details of the traveling event 'On D-Road'12', a new edition of its annual roadshow, with which the manufacturer will present to its distribution channel and partners the most recent bets for the connectivity solutions market: Switching, Wireless, 3G, Storage, Security and IP Video Surveillance. The round of events will begin in the Portuguese city of Porto, the day 6 November, and then move to Spain with events in Valencia, the day 15, Sevilla, the day 20, Bilbao, the day 22, to finish in Barcelona, the day 27 of the same month of November. This year, D-Link will focus on topics such as cloud services mydlink Cloud Services, and how this technology makes available to users a “personal cloud” always accessible from smartphones and tablets with free applications to interact, with unlimited functionality, with devices such as video surveillance cameras, routers and network drives (NAS).

The events will also have specific sections on Switching, with the presentation of the latest solutions and a technical demo on video traffic management, redundancy and security; sobre Wireless, focused on simplified management of wireless networks, with a demo on remote management of environments with massive users; and about Storage, where the latest NAS and SAN solutions will be analyzed, The new microsite dedicated to this segment will be presented (www.almacenamientodlink.es) and a technical demo will be carried out with different scenarios for the SME, as well as two new apps for smartphones and tablets: mydlink access y mydlink cloud.

Finally, The events will conclude with a presentation dedicated to another of D-Link's leading technologies: IP video surveillance. After the presentation “Get the most out of global IP solutions”, There will be a demo of the free mydlink lite and D-ViewCam Mobile applications.

As in previous years, in addition to the interest of the content of the conferences, D-Link will liven up the events by raffling off various products among all attendees, like the Mobile Cloud Companion Wireless Extender (DIR-505).
