Peerless AV offers new line of SmartMount XT digital signage display mounts

The manufacturer of audiovisual support systems and accessories, Peerless AV, has added to its catalog the new line of SmartMount XT flat screen digital signage display supports, offering easier-to-install precision fit options.

Peerless AV assures that it is “taking ease of installation to a higher level” with the launch of its new SmartMount XT series of flat panel digital signage display mounts in articulated styles, inclined and flat for professional assembly in less time. New line of pre-assembled one-piece brackets that can be attached to walls by a single professional installer or integrator provides height adjustments upon flat-mount installation, inclined and articulated and an improved cable structure in the articulated mounts for a clean finish.

Easy installation

SmartMount XT models shorten installation time, according to the company, since a single installer can hang the bracket, and flat and inclined brackets can be fixed to the wall with just four screws. Hinged brackets come in single stud or double stud wall plate varieties, and for heavier screens, A double arm, double stud wall plate is available. Displays attached to universal adapter brackets are held in place with clamping screws.

Articulated models now include compartments to house wiring and, for stands that carry heavier screens, A wall plate is included for in-wall wiring fixture. The new features, along with open wall architecture in inclined and flat models, Expand line cabling and wiring options and keep work areas organized.

One-Touch Function

Installers and integrators are accustomed to the ease of adjusting displays without removing the brackets. You can now adjust the height on flat and tilted stands without having to remove the screen to do so.. Both tilt and articulated models feature the One-Touch tilt function, allowing the correction of viewing angles of +15/-5 degrees without using tools. An improved hinge on the tilt bracket eliminates the need for ratchet handle adjustment. Articulating stand screens can be rotated to a landscape or portrait orientation, Flat and inclined brackets can be adjusted vertically up to one inch and horizontally up to 13 inches. This allows leveling and shifting after installation without having to remove the screen.

Besides, professionals working in high traffic areas are assured that once secured, the stand will not fall, they assure in Peerless. Security screws are available on optional models on inclined and flat brackets, as well as a locking option on the inclined model. Standard SmartMount XT Series models include Phillips head screws.

SmartMount XT line products feature a new matte black finish to blend discreetly into conference and business settings. A decorative wall plate and cable covers on the hinged bracket produce a clean, bright look.
