projectiondesign has unveiled what it calls a 'panoramic projector', a device designed to create a very wide image format workspace without the need for edge blending. The device 2,7 megapixel is based on the company's F35 platform and offers a resolution of 2560×1080 which is equivalent to an aspect ratio 21:9, offering 7000 lumens from single chip DLP engine.

projectiondesign has presented the latest addition to its range of projectors, with the first panoramic DLP projector based on its F35 model. The model has been designed specifically for use in meeting rooms and other collaboration spaces, where users need to share a wide range of graphic image content. The projector offers an exceptionally wide aspect ratio of 21:09 o 2.37:1, than in an environment with an average ceiling height, allows the creation of images up to four meters wide with a single projector.

projectiondesign marketing director, Anders Løkke, has indicated that they have developed this projector in order to meet the growing importance of “collaboration and discussion between platforms” in business. “We have extensive experience in mixing, Color matching and managing two or more projectors working together, But now we also see the need for a super-wide projector that can do the job of two edge-blending devices.. Thousands of meeting rooms use two SXGA channels + or other projectors 4:03 mixed. Essentially it consists of replacing all of that with a single projector”, ha señalado Løkke.

The F35 panoramic has a resolution of 2,7 megapixels -a 35 percent more than Full HD- and a shine of 7.000 ANSI lumens.

“Compared to a two-projector solution, the F35 Panorama promises shorter installation time, less maintenance requirements, less downtime and total cost of ownership (TCO) smaller”, ha agregado Løkke.
