DiGiCo announces version V1742 for its SD and Quantum consoles
The latest version of the software DiGiCo, now available, offers Quantum customers access to Pulse updates, while the new KOS integration 5.5 of Klang:Technologies improves setup of IEM immersive mixing systems.
Designed for all DiGiCo SD and Quantum consoles, the version 1742 replaces the 1619 which was presented a year and a half ago. One of its novelties is that it provides customers of the Quantum338 and 225 take advantage of the new optional Pulse software extension of the company, increasing the number of input channels, Mustard and Nodal buses and processors.
This latest software version, now available, allows DiGiCo users to benefit from the new KOS update 5.5 the Klang for the integration of autonomous consoles without the need for a separate control PC.
Among other improvements, KOS 5.5 offers a streamlined setup process that automatically detects the console and considerably reduces the time spent on it, as well as automatic assignment/naming of auxiliary and console auxiliary nodes, along with automatic file loading and saving.
