The British firm Messagemaker, specialized in development, manufacturing, installation and support of digital LED screens, has implemented what is believed to be the largest advertising LED screen in the world in the Chinese city of Foshan, with a viewing area of ​​almost 1.000 square meters and dimensions of 23,42 m x 41,86 m.

The British LED solutions specialist Messagemaker has announced the installation in Foshan, a city-prefecture in Guangdong province, south of China, of what is considered the largest LED screen in the world, con un tamaño de 23,42 m x 41,86 m (980 m2). It has a pixel pitch of 12mm, a resolution of 1952 x 3488 (which is more than 7 times more pixels than an HD screen 1280 × 720), more than 20 millions of LEDs, legibility at a distance of 10 kilometers and a viewing distance of 20 kilometers.

This giant screen uses Imposa modules (with Cast Aluminum heat sink cooling system) and is equipped with Nichia LEDs. The screen is controlled from a system of four special HD content players, along with sophisticated equipment to synchronize everything. Content is generated by the client. This display can be executed in a semi virtual pixel pitch of 6mm, which provides you with resolution “on paper” of 3904 x 6976 pixels.
