The vocal processing expert TC-Helicon and the audio specialist Sennheiser have started cooperation in the field of vocal effects microphones. Drawing on extensive experience in vocal tools and microphone technology, The two brands have been working on joint research projects since 2011, and will launch a series of new products at the NAMM show 2013.

Kevin Alexander, CEO of TC-Helicon, has commented: “The initial spark for our cooperation arose at NAMM 2011, when TC-Helicon debuted a microphone with controls for vocal effects and Sennheiser showcased the 'Concept Tahoe', a beatboxing microphone. We had never seen each other, we had never spoken – and it happened that we were showing the same benefit, microphone control!”

For your part, Michael Polten, Director of Customer Relationship Management at Sennheiser, has indicated: “We sat together at the show in a very open and friendly atmosphere and talked about what we were working on in our respective companies.. We immediately saw each other as partners . TC-Helicon's mission is to give singers full control and Sennheiser's goal is to provide excellent microphones. So our brands are a perfect complement”

So, TC-Helicon and Sennheiser started a joint research project, exploring how to connect their products to provide unique solutions for singers and musicians – products that will be a distinctive element for their users. As a first result of this agreement, both companies will launch a common product at NAMM 2013. “We are very excited about this new set of products that we are launching. Bringing together the most innovative microphone brand and the most popular vocal processing brand can only be good news for singers.”, Alexander added.
