OMExpo 2013 organizes the 1st Online Marketing and Hotel Distribution Forum with the help of Informática El Corte Inglés
The technological consultancy Informática El Corte Inglés organizes together with OMExpo 2013 the 1st Online Marketing and Hotel Distribution Forum #tourisMKT, to analyze trends and show innovations around this industry.
The countdown to OMExpo 2013, which is celebrated on 24 y 25 April in the pavilion 6 of Madrid Fair – IFEMA, has begun with the novelty of the 1st Online Marketing and Hotel Distribution Forum #tourisMKT, who sponsors IT El Corte Inglés.
This is the first time that this event organizes a specific event for the tourism sector., and in which the technological consulting firm of the El Corte Inglés Group participates, that will show a wide portfolio of innovative solutions for this sector, with digital signage systems, interactive communication and software, collaboration systems, etc.
OMExpo y Expo Ecommerce, which have surpassed by almost a 40% the figure recorded in 2012 before opening its doors, organizes this #tourisMKT forum in collaboration also with the Hotel Technology Institute (ITH) to analyze the key points of online marketing of the tourism product: the distribution (sale through intermediation and sale through own channels) as well as the Billboard Effect in hotels.
In the opening session of the day 24, Juan Carlos Gomez Encinas, CRM/Business Intelligence business consultant from Informática El Corte Inglés, will offer a presentation in the Correos Keynote Room in which he will explain how to combine current trends -cloud, collaboration, mobility and social business- on the same technological platform that allows, besides, retain and preserve the knowledge that is acquired from the client.
For your part, Pedro Anton, tourism business development director of this technology consultancy, will analyze the 25 April trading based on customer data (data based commerce), analyzing the keys to integrating customer information in electronic commerce and sales.
The continuation Pedro Antón will moderate the round table titled, 'distribution4travel' in which the different most common distribution strategies in the sector and the changes driven by online channels will be discussed, new technologies and the way in which they affect users.
The ninth edition of OMExpo/Expo e-Commerce has so far had the participation of more than 240 exhibiting companies and foresees an attendance of more than 10.000 professionals.
