Sustainable projection with Casio systems at the touch of pedals in collaboration with CiclaLab

The sustainable projection initiative with Casio, which began at the end of last May in Barcelona and will extend to other cities, It is the so-called 'mercury-free cyclocine', without polluting and harmful lamps for health.

The objective of this proposal is to show the efficiency of the eco-friendly technology of the new Led-Laser projectors of the Japanese firm compared to other conventional projection technologies on the market., powered by the energy generated by the pedaling of a group of cyclists.

In this sense, in the area of ​​conventional projectors, equipped with polluting mercury lamps, that have a shorter useful life and consume more, the projection was fueled by the pedaling effort of nine cyclists.

In the area of ​​Casio eco-projectors, with equipment that replaces mercury with Led-Laser technology and offers up to 20.000 hours of useful life without changing lamps, They only needed the sustainable energy produced by three cyclists pedaling, that is to say, only a third of the consumption was required, without contaminating elements, compared to other projectors.

The Japanese firm has demonstrated with this sustainable and social development proposal that its systems consume a third less energy compared to equipment from other manufacturers under the same lighting conditions., generated by pedaling bicycles connected to dynamos.

Casio has been the first brand to develop efficient and mercury-free projectors, with an extensive range of recently presented eco-friendly systems, ranging from light and portable equipment (Greem Slim) con 3.000 lumens and WiFi connectivity, to short distance models for educational environments, like XJ-ST155, or the Pro series with up to 4.500 lumens with WXGA resolution, like XJ-H1750 projector.
