IW3 and IW4, new wall projection systems from Display Development
Display Development offers two new wall projection solutions, el In-Wall System 3 (IW3) y el In-Wall System 4 (IW4), which provide a light output of 8.000 y 6.000 lumens, respectively, more than enough production to compensate for the small amount of light loss in installations where acoustically perforated screen material is needed or preferred.
The Custom Video Display System Manufacturer, Display Development, has added two new high-definition wall projection systems to its growing range of products. El In-Wall System 3 (IW3) and the IW4 have been designed to produce an experience of “projection like in a room” in dark viewing environments and a quality TV viewing experience in rooms with some ambient light, the company has insured.
Jim Burns, President of Display Development, has explained: “The IW3 and IW4 are unique in their application and provide the custom installation industry with solutions to incorporate large light images in spaces where placing a projector on the ceiling is not practical.. We have designed this series of projectors with custom solution installers in mind. Easy installation, with integration flexibility and great performance, The IW3 and IW4 provide the perfect projector solution for all types of spaces.”
Both projectors use a dual UHP lamp, tri-chip DLP light engines and can produce 3D images for viewing with active shutter 3D glasses. The IW3 provides a light output of 8.000 lumens, while the IW4 emits 6.000 brightness lumens.

Display Development combines projectors with display materials that work in ambient light rooms to create a TV screen viewing experience that surpasses flat panel technologies, the company has indicated. The technology also allows integrators to provide a completely hidden system when not in use.
Key temperature points within each chassis are monitored by Display Development's proprietary ventilation system to ensure proper operation.
Projectors include a plated surface mirror system, compensation and geometric distortion correction adjustments to offer a high degree of installation flexibility.
