Blue Chip Technology has announced its new digital signage controller, the Vario-A2 model, offering reliability and high CPU performance for entry-level applications at a low cost.

The new Vario-A2 digital signage controller, developed by Blue Chip Technology, Allows you to route the signal to a DVI or VGA display reliably and with optimal CPU and graphics performance in entry-level applications.

Vario-A2 also integrates dual Gigabit LAN, USB, audio line input and output and RS232 port to interface with a multimedia hub.

This low-cost solution supports up to 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and allows storage from 250 GB to 2 TB, con procesador AMD G-Series Low Power Dual Core T40E APU a 1 GHz, as well as AMD Radeon HD 6250G graphics.

The functionality of this digital signage controller can be increased with a Mini PCIe expansion socket via SSD, Wi-Fi, módem 2G/3G/4G, GPS y ZigBee.

Vario-A2 is compatible with different operating systems to facilitate its operation, like Linux, XP Embedded, XP Pro y Win 7.
