SIMO Network 2013 bets on technological innovation in the classrooms with the SIMO Education space
The SIMO Network technology fair 2013, that will open its doors at the Madrid fairgrounds 15 al 17 October, As a novelty, it has a space dedicated to the latest technologies applied to education.
SIMO Education is the new space dedicated exclusively to this industry that will be held within the framework of edition 2013 of SIMO Network, which will take place 15 al 17 October at IFEMA, and that has been organized by this institution and Education 3.0.
The latest developments in technologies applied to digital education from manufacturers such as Inves, Epson, NEC Display, Panasonic, Sharp, Intel, Optoma, Smart Technologies, Meow, inter alia, some of them represented by wholesalers and distributors such as Charmex, Cramp, Comm Audiovisual, Tech Data o Posiflex, inter alia, will be displayed at different stands.
This exhibition area will be complemented during the three days of the event with a conference program, round tables and practical workshops with the participation of experts from this sector, which will culminate with the delivery of the first SIMO Education awards to recognize companies and professionals who promote the development and implementation of ICT solutions in the educational field..
Conferences and augmented reality applications
Applications developed around education, such as those that integrate augmented reality technology, will have great prominence in the so-called Apps Corner, with exchange of experiences and knowledge between developers, publishers and teachers.
The conference program will also dedicate some presentations to educational applications with augmented reality technology., like the one taught by Raúl Reinoso, promoter of the augment.me project and the TecnoTIC portal, and Esteban Anguita, LabHuman innovation director.
Topics such as 'Online resources and the pending textbook revolution', 'Present and future of the implementation of ICT in Spain' or 'Teacher training: present and future, will be analyzed and debated in the different SIMO Education round tables.
Added to this is also a presentation area to learn about practical experiences in the educational field and projects such as 'Fingers'., developed by the Rey Juan Carlos and Autonomous universities of Madrid and the Down Syndrome Foundation, which is free software that allows you to create different types of educational activities that can be used on different devices (computers, digital whiteboards and interactive digital tables, etc).
For your part, Practical workshops will allow teachers to learn how to build a personal learning environment (PLE) or how to take advantage of robots in the classroom or create, publish and share educational apps with students, inter alia.
