Sony, together with JCDecaux, turns the Madrid Metro into a virtual store
The Sol and Nuevos Ministerios stations of the Madrid Metro have been converted for a few days, thanks to JCDecaux, in a virtual supermarket where passers-by can buy Sony Mobile products from their mobile phones using QR codes.
JCDecaux has made a spectacular decoration for the line 10 of Nuevos Ministerios and the line 3 Sun, and convert them, for a few days, in virtual stores where passersby can buy the products of Sony Mobile directly from your mobile phones.
JCDecaux has installed vinyl on the platforms of the line's stations 10 of Nuevos Ministerios and the line 3 of Vodafone Sol to capture the attention of passengers and that from their smartphones, and through Bidi codes, can buy mobility products from the Japanese manufacturer.
The user only has to scan the QR code of the product that is displayed on the stations' screens with their smartphone or tablet and is automatically redirected to the Sony online store.. Already on the web, you can obtain more information and/or confirm the purchase.
Waiting times and the enveloping nature of its architecture, They turn Metro into a place where passengers' attention to advertising increases compared to other scenarios and where users are especially receptive to interactive actions of this type..
This branding campaign that has been launched in the Madrid Metro is completed with a decorated hallway in the Catalunya station in the Barcelona Metro.
