For the first time in its history and in a Central European city, Prague has welcomed 17 al 20 October Signal Light Festival, Also known as the 'festival of light', during which the capital of the Czech Republic has been transformed with the latest audiovisual and lighting technologies.

Signal Light Festival has transformed the historic buildings and the center of this city with innovative creations by leading artists and companies, among which is the Spanish Telenoika, con el videomapping ‘Alive silhouette’; the French RomainTardy of Antivj and 1024 Architecture of France; the Russian SilaSveta from Russia or the local company Macula, architects of the projection on the façade of the emblematic astronomical clock in Prague, inter alia.

Specifically, The new audiovisual and lighting technologies of these artists have materialized in four videomapping projections, eighteen audiovisual installations and light sculptures distributed throughout the center and most emblematic buildings of the city, which have been complemented with conferences, workshops and outdoor events to involve citizens and visitors.

The edition 2013 of Signal Light Festival has had the support of the city administration, the agency CzechTourism and the production company Fresh Films.

One of the creations made during the Signal Light Festival corresponds to the Spanish company Telenoika, based in Catalonia and founded in the year 2000 by a group of audiovisual professionals and creatives. His project 'Alive silhouette', It consists of a spectacular videomapping that has been projected during the four days of the festival on the façade of the historic Arcibiskupský palace.

'Alive silhouette' integrates ideas and concepts from Czech culture, as they explain from this company: “We were inspired by the drawings and paintings of Zdenek Sýkora and his orderly generated art; as well as filming artists, como Jiří Bárta and Karol Zeman, inter alia, as well as in the work of Kafka and his imagery”.

The Telenoika team has tried to unite all these concepts and ideas in a creative proposal that is based on four materials and supports., each one with its own characteristics to be represented in videomapping.
