Daktronics Selects Harman Speakers for New Camp Randall Stadium Sound System
Harman's JBL VLA Line Arrays speakers have been the equipment chosen by Daktronics to renew the sound system at the Camp Randall stadium at the University of Wisconsin.
In time to start the football season, Daktronics has redesigned the audio system at the University of Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium (Madison). Home of the Wisconsin Badgers football team, It has the capacity to accommodate 80.321 fans and is among the forty largest stadiums in the world.
For the new audio system, Daktronics has chosen to install the speakers JBL VLA Line Arrays de Harman. This sound infrastructure consists of 18 JBL VLA301H speakers , 14 JBL VLA 601H, tres JBL PD743, dos JBL PD5212, 12 AWC82 y 21 AW295. Four line arrays cover the west, south and east, with many speaker fillers covering the north seats and the top of the seats.
“Stadium design presents many challenges, including a deep under-balcony balcony area. This area requires a completely separate submix in order to mix properly with the main system”, comments David Sturzenbecher from Daktronics.
