Christie shows at I/ITSEC 2013 its latest solutions based on DLP technology
The Matrix StIM WQ projector, an immersive and deployable simulator for training and the WQXGA true 120Hz stereoscopic projector Mirage WQ-L will be the main novelties with which Christie attends I/ITSEC 2013.
Christie participates in the I/ITSEC fair 2013, which opened its doors today in Orlando and will continue until 5 December, with a broad deployment of visual display solutions in which lamp-based solid-state DLP technologies, in 2D and 3D, are the protagonists.
Among the products that Christie will show are the Matrix StIM WQ projector, an LED-based device with WQXGA resolution designed for simulation applications, an immersive, deployable training simulator and the Mirage WQ-L stereoscopic projector. It will also demonstrate 4K DLP projection technology and 3 chips with operation 120 real Hz.
Christie 3-chip 4K DLP technology is behind the Christie TruLife electronics platform, which represents a big step in video processing by making it possible to project 4K DLP at 120 Hz. Besides, attenuates image blur and motion artifacts associated with high-speed simulation content and supports a video processing pipeline of up to 1,2 gigapixels per second. Last June, Christie unveiled the Mirage 4K projector, a 4K DLP equipment 3 chips a 120 Hz.
Matrix StIM WQ
Deploying FlightSafety International simulation content at 120Hz, el Matrix StIM WQ, an integrated projection system and scalable environment, has the ability to project 800 ANSI lumens with absolutely clear images and no motion artifacts.
This equipment separates RGB and Infrared channels (RI) using Christie InfraScene technology and produces NVG night vision images for a more realistic training experience.
Christie plans to demonstrate a three-channel front projection display consisting of Matrix StIM WQ projection systems and an Image Generator (IG) Vital X FlightSafety International. Using a unique dual input architecture, each projector will provide two inputs to 60 Hz to reach the 120 Real Hz RGG, increasing image quality. The entire multichannel system is automatically aligned thanks to Christie AutoCal.
Another of Christie's demonstrations at the show will be to show the visual impact between multiple combinations of WUXGA/WQXGA resolution and 60Hz/120Hz refresh rates. For this, will use one Matrix StIM and two Matrix StIM WQ projectors that will be managed with multiple channels of the FlightSafety Vital-X IG.
Mirage WQ-L
Your assistance to Orlando, will serve Christie to present its WQXGA true 120Hz stereoscopic projector Mirageg WQ-L.
And el stand the FlightSafety, Four Christie Mirageg WQ-L projectors offer a wide field of view of stereo collimated display content in landscape mode, with great depth and immersive experiences for flight simulation training.
Mirage series of high-performance 2D/3D projectors welcomes the WQ-L projection system, with its sharp images, its precise and realistic chromaticism and with its light engine equipped with a life cycle of 60.000 hours.
The Christie Mirage WQ-L also includes Christie ArrayLOC for brightness management and color synchronization, reducing system calibration needs
Display panel plano QuadHD84
The Christie QuadHD84 is a high-performance LCD flat panel display. 84 inches offering quad high definition, resolution 3840 x 2160 y 1.070 millions of colors, allowing you to display rich images, sharp and realistic even from very close. Quad interface and true 60Hz refresh rate enable flexible connectivity and seamless real-time motion viewing of 2D content, with an LED illumination time of 50.000 hours.
Mirage WU7K-M
Christie M Series and Mirage M Series are low-cost projection solutions especially suited for immersive environments. With DLP technology 3 chips, an Osram P-VIP dual lamp design and a contrast of up to 10.000:1 full on/off, The series offers high efficiency, low cost of ownership and sharp, highly detailed images and colors.
Mirage M Series includes 2D/3D flexibility and 120Hz refresh rate capability to enable fast-moving image projection. The projectors of both series have built-in Christie Twist for warping and edge-blending of images, as well as display capability in portrait mode, from WUXGA resolution model options, HD a las SX+. The last in this series is the Mirage WU7K-M, a WUXGA resolution projector 6.300 ANSI lumens.
Twist LT con UAV
Christie Twist LT is a custom software-based solution that enables full image warping and advanced edge-blending functions located within the Image Generator. (IG) of the client. Using the same user interface as the Christie Twist, The Twist LT offers touch control for hassle-free edge-blending on multiple, non-linear images. Integrates with Christie AutoCal to automatically adjust virtually any projected display for optimal viewing configuration.
At I/ITSEC Christie Twist LT also puts its top-quality, low-cost warping and blending solution at the service of an entry-level, single-operator immersive training concept., performing a demo of a training scenario for a UAV operator (unmanned aerial vehicle).
The simulator offers a wide field of vision, high resolution image, curved screen, a tactile feedback system and binaural sound for an immersive quality training experience. Using AutoCal, to provide a quick and easy setup, Its compact nature and low weight make the training simulator easy to transport and deploy. It is ideal for training UAV operators and for training in specific tasks or helicopters and vehicles..
Christie Brio
Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the latest in meeting collaboration solutions and one of Christie's newest products: Brio. A presentation and meeting collaboration solution that allows participants to share up to five audio and video presentations from their own devices.
Brio uses wired or wireless connections to automatically share multiple presentations displayed simultaneously on one or two meeting room screens. Brio nodes can connect via network to multiple workstations located throughout the country. Brio also makes optimal use of interactive whiteboard technology, turning it into a two-way collaboration tool.. Any participant in a Brio meeting can use touch devices to contribute or edit whiteboard content regardless of their geographic location.
Christie at the fair
Besides, DiSTI's booth showcases a three-channel personal immersive environment using Christie FHD551-X LCD flat panels mounted in portrait mode to showcase the brand's virtual maintenance training solutions.
In the Da-Lite one, a Christie Spyder X20 and two Christie HD10K-Ms are used with blending and warping functions.; while in the Electrosonic one the Christie QuadHD84 and Christie Phoenix LCD flat panel is used in a command and control display and situation detection. For your part, NDIA SIM TV displays located in the conference lobby use two Christie HD14K-M 3-chip® digital projectors 1080 HD.
