Barco and projectiondesign 'join forces' in infrared projection and simulation at I/ITSEC 2013
Almost a year after two world leaders in visualization systems, Barco y projectiondesign, join their technological expertise, The strategic objective is to 'join forces' to show their joint advances in infrared and optical projection at the I/ITSEC contest 2013, held in Orlando (USA).
Barco y projectiondesign have chosen the I/ITSEC contest 2013 (stand 2535), which takes place until next 5 December at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, to showcase joint developments in display solutions and their latest advances in infrared and optical projection technology for night vision, as well as simulation (LCoS y DLP ReaLED) under the motto 'joining forces'.
One of the latest additions to their product portfolio that professionals can see at the booth of these companies is the system, Qualified as '2013 generation' LCos technology, of the SIM 7Q HC system, offering a native contrast ratio of 40.000:1 and up to a total dynamic range of 20 million:1, to show very realistic night scenes with black levels invisible to the human eye.
For your part, projectiondesign's FS35 IR LED night vision projector provides 4.1 megapixels, which offers an infrared light intensity nine times greater than the previous model. It has a new motorized optical IR filter to ensure optimal flexibility and better black levels during Night Vision Goggle Stimulated (NPA) for training, con 100.000 hours of uninterrupted light output for daytime training scenarios and maximum installation flexibility.
The infrared option has also been incorporated into the entire projectiondesign F35 series., while the new motorized optical IR filter is available in single-chip DLP systems of this same range.
Another novelty is the new range of high-contrast NV43 and NV46 lenses., Constructed of glass with an optimized IR coating that significantly improves IR transmission to 850 nm, contributing a 300% More brightness and contrast than regular lenses, according to company data. Added to this is the EN47 short lens. 0,65:1 de projectiondesign, available to deliver clear, sharp images with WQXGA resolution.
