Ibercover, award for 'Best special effects technology' for Samsung's Christmas videomapping in 2012

Ibercover, producer of events and audiovisual shows, has won the Event Technology Awards in the category 'Best special effects technology' for the production and direction carried out in the Christmas show 2012/2013 of Samsung and the Madrid City Council in the Cibeles Palace of this city.

To the ceremony of these awards that recognize innovation and technology in technological events, recently held in London, came LM Productions, English company that supplied the video projectors and sound system for the show produced by Ibercover, to collect the award.

Ibercover adds its second prize this year, in both cases for events held for Samsung, like the presentation of Galaxy Note 10.1 of the Korean firm with a large projection on the façade of a well-known shopping center in Madrid. The company was also responsible for the production and direction of the Christmas event in 2011, where he collaborated with other Spanish companies in technical engineering, as BCN OFF.

Manuel Torischnik Arbo, director of Ibercover, He has been very satisfied with this award while pointing out that “2014 promises to be a year with many new developments in the audiovisual panorama., and at Ibercover we have been working on it for months, preparing different theater projects, theme parks and shows at heritage monuments”.

In this sense, Horischnik points out that in these projects they will work with multiple resources and techniques, from the already known projections and mapping, up to LED, laser, interactive systems, etc. “Without a doubt, the previous documentation, the script and content have the highest priority and the greatest weight. That's why, “The link between design and technology will once again be fundamental”, points out.

Ibercover has been one of the first companies to work with 4K projections, like the one he carried out last July in Toledo, as reported Digital AV Magazine, on the occasion of Lux Greco 2013, and in producing the first International Mapping Contest in Toledo, within the official programming of the city council of this city.
