The Q Series is Christie's new line that is part of Christie's range of DLP projectors. 1 chip with equipment that reaches 10.000 lumens. In addition, has renewed the G Series with three new teams of 6.000 lumens.

Christie Serie Q

Coinciding with the ISE fair in Amsterdam 2014, between the 4 and the 6 February, Christie, which will be in hall 1-stand H50, has added three projectors to its G Series, High-brightness, single-lamp DLP single-chip DLP equipment that offers 6.000 lumens and resolution WXGA/HD/WUXGA.

In this way, Christie has replaced the DWU550-G with the DWU600-G and the DHD550-G with the DHD600-G. Besides, has incorporated the model DWX600-G, a computer with WXGA resolution, ideal for applications where the image superiority of DLP technology 1 chip and high brightness are vital, but where high resolution is an accessory aspect.

Another premiere that Christie will show at ISE is the Q Series, made up of three teams that offer brightness options ranging from 8.500 to the 10.000 XGA lumens and resolutions, WXGA y WUXGA.

Christie DWX600-GG Series Update

With his 6.000 lumens and a single lamp design, DWU600-G and DHD600-G models provide image quality, very high brightness and reliability, essential features for boardroom and conference room presentations. Ideal for use in higher education, government agencies or places of worship subject to budget constraints, The Christie G Series provides the durability that these types of environments demand, thanks to DLP technology.

Updated G Series projectors feature a six-segment color wheel for the widest possible spectrum and more natural, realistic images. These devices offer standard lenses, but they also allow the user to choose between a set of optional lenses.

Along with the significant improvement in brightness, The new G Series models offer longer lamp life 33% longer than previous models, and is equipped with the Dicom (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) Simulation Mode, a simulation mode for educational uses.

Simple installation offers features such as the option of wireless connectivity or a variety of inputs, like HDMI, DVI o DisplayPort. And to guarantee greater authenticity in the image, Dynamic Contrast feature allows contrast ratios of up to 4800:1. Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture capabilities allow for flexible projection options.

“With two improved models and a WXGA model, Christie has a complete catalog of DLP solutions from 1 chip that covers any presentation need. The improved Christie G Series is durable and suitable for demanding environments such as digital signage and museums., where projectors stay on for long periods of time. Besides, Now this series offers multi-projection blends on curved surfaces to achieve, without any problem and without effort, impeccable images”, comments Curtis Lingard, Christie Technology Products Director.

Christie DWU600-GSerie Q DLP 1 chip, until 10.000 lumens

With brightness options ranging from 8.500 lumens at 10.000 and XGA resolutions, WXGA y WUXGA, The Christie Q Series 1-chip DLP must be equipped with eClarity: advanced image processing that sharpens images by allowing greater control over their sharpness, shine and shading. Usable in single or dual lamp mode, The Q Series is available in three models: DXG1051, DWX951 and DWU951.

Thanks to the incorporation of HDCR (high dynamic contrast range), eliminates image blur in places with high ambient lighting, adjusting dynamic contrast to recapture the detail lost due to excessive incidence of ambient light on the screen. Besides, Christie Q Series also features Dicom Simulation Mode.

“Be projected in horizontal or vertical mode, The Christie Q Series raises the bar for brightness and flexibility in DLP technology products. 1 chip” comments Frank Anzures, Christie Senior Product Manager.

Thanks to the built-in dual color wheel, Users will be able to quickly choose between two color wheels to select the one that best suits their content and application. As Anzures clarifies, “the high-brightness color wheel offers superior whites that guarantee better graphic presentations.”, while the ultra-rich color wheel facilitates an expanded color spectrum comparable to cinema color. Besides, “The Q Series has an automated function that allows you to switch between color wheels without any problems.”.

The Q series is an ideal solution for use in show rental applications., conventions or in any event in which visual systems are a key element.
