Planar debuts at ISE 2014 the 84” UltraRes screen and the Clarity Matrix LCD video walls

UltraRes display solutions from 84 inches and the Clarity Matrix LCD video wall systems are the new features that can be seen at the Planar stand (3-A80) an ISE 2014.

WHEREAS 2014 is witnessing the European debut of the new line of UltraRes screens from Planar Systems and demonstration of the recently announced Clarity Matrix LCD video wall systems with G2 architecture.

With a native resolution of 3840 x 2160, Planar UltraRes 4K features LCD technology and LED backlighting, passive cooling, Selectable dynamic contrast and local dimming for improved contrast. A touch device that has six points of contact, shine of 420 nits and does not show display defects in either 2D or 3D.

The UltraRes model of 84 inches is designed to offer ultra-high resolution in a wide variety of commercial industries that require a large viewing area, with very high pixel density to allow teams to collaborate in a more immersive environment and detailed visual information.

It is an ideal screen for commercial collaboration applications, education and government applications, as well as in the health environment, the aerospace industry, architecture and for digital signage solutions.

The screen supports a refresh rate of 60 Hz y 10 color bits, They have a thin metal cover, a wide range of digital connectivity options and incorporates switching power supply for 24-hour operation×7.

Planar UltraRes displays are available in three versions: They come in three basic models: el UR8450-LX 2D, designed for conference and control rooms, el UR8450-MX 2D, Designed for digital signage and brightly lit environments, and the UR8450-3D, for 2D and 3D applications.

Clarity Matrix LED con G2

Clarity Matrix LCD video wall systems with G2 architecture combine an ultra-slim profile with 4K resolution, in addition to having improvements in its design to facilitate its installation and maintenance.

Featuring ultra HD resolution with 4K images and color input and processing capabilities of 10 bits, This line is designed with ultra-narrow bezels and a distance between panels of 3,7 mm. They also incorporate the Planar EasyAxis Mounting System, which provides an installation depth of only 3,6 inches (91mm) and perfect panel-to-panel alignment.

This video wall solution from Planar incorporates the Big Picture Plus processing system that allows content to be scaled to view in full format or in sections.

With a video extension function that allows the source to be within 100 meters away with a single Cat6 cable, This Planar solution offers great installation flexibility while eliminating the cost and reliability issues of using third-party cable extenders.

Like the previous generation Clarity Matrix with G2 architecture incorporates AC power outlets behind the screens and a single power supply can manage up to eight, reducing space and outlets.
