AMX solves the connection in conference rooms with the retractable HydraPort and Dual USB modules
Equipped with flat and retractable cables for the AMX HydraPort junction box, The new retractable Dual USB modules offer a network connection and/or to charge different devices in a compact solution that is easy to install on conference room tables.
With a great reception during the recent celebration of WHEREAS 2014 in Amsterdam, the two new Dual USB modules for the HydraPort junction box of AMX offer networking and device charging in a compact solution to organize and hide cables on virtually any type of conference room table.
At the beginning of the design phase of the new retractable modules, AMX analyzed that the answer to a better solution was in the cable itself. Until now, most manufacturers chose to use cables that were never designed to be coiled. For this reason, This supplier has designed new cables specially designed to be coiled, thus increasing the efficiency of the retractable system, as well as improving AV fidelity to surpass that of standard cables.
AMX HydraPort retractable modules require no assembly, fittings or finishes and install quickly and easily without special assembly. Each of the four new retractable modules supports a specific AV format (HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet y RGB con audio) and can be installed in any of the HydraPort junction boxes 600, 900 company o1200.
RedMere flat, high-speed cables are integrated into each module to ensure the best possible image and audio quality in a compact design. To ensure a unified design hidden from view, AMX also offers these same flat cables as standalone accessories for connecting tabletop modules to equipment racks., screens and other AV equipment located in other locations in the room. Their ultra-flat design makes them ideal for use under carpet or anywhere where a flat cable is desired..
AMX has also developed two new HydraPort Dual USB modules that reinforce the company's support for BYOD environments., as they double the number of USB ports on a module and maximize the space available on a HydraPort, while reducing costs.
