The distance between pixels of 9 mm and its 5.500 nits of brightness were also key factors”, explica John Czechowicz de Alchemy Concert Systems.
For the Audi Ajax Cup 2013 A screen made up of EPV9 IP panels in 3D format was used. 3 x 5 which was mounted on a truss 15 inches arc-shaped.
This panel was used, before the event, to display program information and during the competition to offer live images of the descents, athlete biographies and advertising. These contents were supplied thanks to the Elation Arkaos Media Master Pro software from a media server configured for the occasion..
“The construction of the screen suspended in the air on a truss of 15 inches and its adjustable panel design offered us great peace of mind. Y, technically, their brilliance, even with daylight hitting it directly it was excellent. Besides, It was visible even from the other side of the city”, comments John Czechowicz.
Celebrating the Sochi Games
At the beginning of February, A corporate event was held at the Aspen ski resort to celebrate the opening of the Winter Olympic Games 2014. A ceremony involving former US Olympic athletes, There was a parade of one hundred skiers who descended Aspen Mountain with torches, as well as a great pyrotechnic show.
For this occasion, a couple of screens were used in 2 x 4 that were suspended on a 10' lattice truss in the shape of an arch. These were buried in the snow flanking the Little Nell ski slope. Olympic-themed graphics, logos and live television coverage was viewed on the panels.
““The light weight and ease of connection of the panels was very important as it had to be set up in the dark of the night before the event because the ski slope could not be obstructed.”, John clarifies..
