AMX has unveiled its family of Solecis AV digital selectors that bring technology from large meeting rooms to smaller spaces that are increasingly used by more people to hold impromptu work meetings..

Typical meeting spaces often lack the connections and control options for guest teams, something necessary in most meetings. Solecis increases productivity by allowing all participants to share their laptop with the work team.

By integrating an AV selector, a long-distance transport transmitter and control inputs that allow switching without the need for an external controller, Solecis fits the needs of many meeting scenarios. It is easy to manage by using simple interfaces, such as a toggle button on an AMX HydraPort or a keypad, that can be mounted under meeting tables or on lecterns.

AMX Solecis digital selectors have also been designed to integrate into the largest and most complex systems. All models include two outlets, an HDMI for a local display, and another long distance transport AMX DXLink for a remote display.

When integrated with an Enova DVX All-In-On Presentation Switcher or an Enova DGX Digital Media Switcher, Participants can collaborate using their local HDMI display and also view a display with remote content over the DXLink output.

The Solecis family is made up of three models, a multi-format one 5×1 and two HDMI 4×1 y 8×1. The former includes HDMI and VGA inputs and is ready to fit long tables with AV connection points at each end. HDMI 4×1 and 8×1 models are options where digital video formats are essential.

These devices provide four connection points for users and include simplified local control, that sends the selected signal to both a DXLink and HDMI output.
