MimioDisplay: interactive multi-touch LED/LCD displays up to 84 inches for the educational environment
Atlantic Devices brings the new six-touch MimioDisplay LED/LCD multi-touch screens to the Spanish market, available in formats ranging from 55 a 84 inches. In addition, has also announced the new versions of the PDI software MimioStudio12 and the collaborative application MimioMobile3.
Meow, whose products it distributes in Spain Atlantic Devices, has entered the multi-touch LED/LCD display market with its MimioDisplay models up to 84 inches, that combine the functionalities of an interactive whiteboard with those of a Full HD screen (1920×1080) and integrate an audio system through its two 10W speakers.
MimoDisplay screens are anti-reflective and offer superior viewing quality than multimedia projectors from any angle. They do not need to be calibrated, They are not affected by ambient light and allow you to work without shadows.
Its multi-touch sensitive surface 6 Simultaneous points facilitate collaborative work, since it allows several students to use it at the same time. Also includes two ergonomic passive pointers, so that you can choose the way that works best. Includes MimioStudio software and integrates with the rest of the MimioClassroom series devices.
MimioDisplay screens are available in 55, 65, 70 y 84 inches. Optionally, a compact PC can be integrated into the unit to have full functionality in the same unit, no cables or external accessories.
MimioStudio and MimioMobile
Mimio has also presented the new version of the MimioStudio12 software and the MimioMobile3 mobile application. The first includes a web browser so teachers can add a web page directly to lessons and annotate on it, leveraging resources on the Internet and creating dynamic and seamlessly integrated lessons.
MimioStudio Collaborate feature allows you to connect an unlimited number of mobile devices, ya sean Apple, Android, MimioMobile-equipped smartphones or MimioPad tablets. The material that appears on the interactive screen is replicated on students' mobile devices so they can work collectively, in small groups or individually in their own teams.
