Matrox Graphics' New C-Series Line Includes the C420 Fanless Quad Card and C680 High-Performance Six-Head Card. Ideal solutions for multiple screen configurations in digital signage applications, control and security rooms.

Matrox Graphics C-Series

Matrox Graphics has announced its first PCI Express graphics cards, C-Series line members: the C420 with four outlets and the C680 with six outlets. Two solutions designed to provide stability, Reliability and advanced multi-display capabilities.

These cards from the C-Series range have an internal memory of 2 GB and mini DisplayPort connectivity. Provide high performance for control room applications, digital signage, audio and video, integrated systems, as well as in corporate environments, industrial and security.

The low-profile Matrox C420 quad card supports up to four displays with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600 and includes passive cooling for greater reliability and quiet operation. Its low energy consumption makes it the ideal option for integrated systems.

The single-slot Matrox C680 supports up to six displays or projectors with a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160. Support for the latest Ultra-HD and 4K panels makes the C680 a versatile solution for multi-display workstation setups. More displays can be supported by inserting two C680 cards into one system. Card-to-card frame locking feature ensures synchronization of all displays to reduce wear and tear on digital signage and video walls.

Both cards work with Matrox PowerDesk desktop management software for Windows, that allows you to configure and manage multiple screen structures. PowerDesk provides a comprehensive toolset to control various display configurations including extended or standalone desktops, clone mode, screen rotation, panel management and border overlay. Matrox's advanced desktop management features also let you determine where and how program windows are displayed on the desktop.; a productivity tool designed to improve multi-screen experiences.

Matrox C-Series x16 PCI Express graphics cards are designed with GPU and DirectX support 11.2, OpenGL 4.4 y OpenCL 1.2., in addition to including secure mini DisplayPort connectors that prevent loose cables.

These solutions are on display at the Matrox stand at the Security Essen fair 2014 (salon 2.0, stand 428) and at InfoComm MEA 2014 (stand TA-F35).
