VIA Artigo A900 with Android support for environments emerging from the Internet of Things and M2M communications
With advanced multimedia capabilities, VIA Artigo A900 offers a compact Android-based system ideal for digital signage applications and interactive kiosks.
VIA Artigo A900 includes all the components necessary to build interactive kiosks, digital signage systems and other Human-Machine Interface solutions (HMI) in a single compact Android-based system. Provides rich 3D graphics and high definition video performance, as well as flexible input/output connectivity options (E/S) and advanced software development tools.
This device VIA Technologies It has Mini HDMI input and output ports, that allow you to configure it to mix locally captured video streams with content supplied from the cloud in real time. This makes it possible to create visually attractive interactive displays for sectors such as commerce., banking or museums. peripheral devices (like sensors, cameras, ticket printers, barcode readers and fingerprint scanners) can be integrated through the serial port, digital I/O or USB ports 2.0, which allows expanding the functionalities of the installation.
“VIA Artigo A900 takes the hassle out of creating integrated Android-based solutions for a wide variety of rapidly emerging scenarios in the Internet of Things and Machine-to-Machine communications.. These environments require advanced multimedia performance and versatile connectivity options. Providing a fully integrated system that can be easily customized to meet the needs of each targeted application reduces development costs and accelerates time to market.”, explica Epan W, director of the VIA Embedded Platform Division.
