Symetrix SymNet Composer 3.0 expands compatibility with third-party systems
Symetrix has updated the free design architecture software SymNet Composer, expanding its compatibility to audio solutions from Shure and Audio-Technica and making it easy to configure any Dante-based system.
The latest version of SymNet Composite's free design architecture software for network audio processors. Symetrix is committed to interoperability between manufacturers, allowing a greater number of devices manufactured by third parties to interact with this application. In the version 3.0 sound solutions included Shure y Audio-Technica.
SymNet Composer 2.0 allowed, to integrators using SymNet Edge or Symetrix Radius DSP, unify in the same software the procedures to install and detect networks, route the Dante signal and install compatible third-party devices such as Attero Tech o Stewart Audio.
“This version was a revolution since it allows there to be less software to update and reduces the transfer of different elements. Con SymNet Composer 3.0 “We extend that ease of setup to other market-leading products and make it possible to quickly and easily configure any Dante-based system from input to amplifier with a single software program.”, comments Trent Wagner, Senior Product Manager at Symetrix.
For Shure users, SymNet Composer 3.0 incorporates transceivers (transmitter-receivers) MXWAPT4 and MXWAPT8 access point from Shure's range of Microflex wireless systems. “Symetrix's line of Radius and Edge DSP processors are an excellent solution for conference rooms and a great complement to our Microflex wireless microphone system”, explains Chad Wiggins, director of networked audio systems and global product management, Shure Incorporated.
SymNet Composer 3.0 also adds native Dante configuration Audinate to two Audio-Technica products: the new ATND971 boundary condenser microphone, transmitting audio and control data via Dante protocol, and the ATND8677, a desktop microphone stand with Dante output, suitable for gooseneck microphones with three-pin XLRM output connector.
“With the integration of Audio-Technica and Symetrix technologies, the microphone adopts the function of user interface of the AV system, being able to capture audio, transmit user commands with the push of a button and provide visual support to the end user, all with the usual type of cabling and using standard network protocols. with this, “The AV designer has greater creativity when it comes to controlling how the end user interacts with the system.”, aclara Gary Dixon, Audio-Technica US Installed Sound Sales Engineer.
The new version of SymNet Composer includes a series of improvements to the Window Management Framework (Composer UI), providing more freedom to move palettes to the area of the screen you want, reposition them and store them in pallets with tabs. In addition, You can create menu bars for frequently accessed commands and customize toolbars for quick entry into favorites.
In addition to releasing the SymNet Composer 3.0, Symetrix has announced that the SymNet Radius 12×8 EX is now available. This is an update to SymNet Radius 12×8 DSP that incorporates an expansion slot that when used increases the total audio inputs and outputs to 24 within the same 1U format.
SymNet Radius 12×8 EX is compatible with a range of optional SymNet cards: analogues, digital, AEC and telephone. A dedicated migration tool allows users of Radius 12 hardware×8 from previous designs or with jobs in progress easily convert your files to Radius 12 hardware×8 EX without modifications or additional work.
SymNet 2: VoIP interface 2 lines
Another novelty from Symetrix is the two-line VoIP Interface card, a plug-in card compatible with Asterisk y Cisco, for Symetrix SymNet Edge and Radius DSPs that natively integrate with SIP calling platforms and unified communications environments.
Designed for easy installation and management, Two-line VoIP interface card is suitable for various conferencing applications, sending search message, remote control and broadcast.
