The version 7.3 This Windows software for DSP systems also includes web-based event scheduling, support for W-series remotes and new device integrations.

Symetrix Composer 7.3

Symetrix Composer has been released 7.3, the latest version of its intuitive Windows programming software for Edge DSP systems, Radius NX, Prism y Solus NX. This tool, that distributes SeaSound, allows integrators to program an entire signal flow for the DSP using a single application.

New features in this update include multi-track audio recording, web based event scheduler, support for new W-series remotes and new device integrations.

Multi-track audio recording allows a Radius NX device to record up to eight audio tracks simultaneously to an external USB device.

Audio tracks can be recorded individually or grouped into multi-channel modules of up to eight channels per module.

The designer places one or more recording modules in the design window of a Radius NX processor in Symetrix Composer.

Each recording module has its own start/stop controls, assignable storage location on USB drive, file name settings and audio settings.

W Series Remote Controls

W-series remote controls expand Symetrix management options with versatile IP-based remote controls with PoE technology.

With four variants providing different rotary encoder combinations, momentary buttons and OLED screens, W-series remote controls give system designers flexible control options, which can be implemented with a simple Ethernet connection to a PoE Switch or a PoE power injector.

W Series remote controls leverage the same programming interface used to program Symetrix ARC remote controls. They are available in black and white versions, in both American and European box formats.

Web-based event scheduler

Web-based event scheduler and all control server applications provide simple, direct access to system control, from any device with a web browser, regardless of the manufacturer or operating system of that device.

From any device with a web browser, a user can view existing scheduled events, make changes to existing ones or add new ones. This eliminates the need for a dedicated computer to run Composer software to add/edit events. Users can control system functionality without having access to modify the system's DSP programming.

The web-based Event Scheduler can also be accessed from any computer connected to the local network.

New device integrations

Symetrix Composer 7.3 adds support for direct integration with Powersoft Mezzo amplifiers, Visionary Solutions E4100 and D4100 video encoder/decoders, the ClockAudio TIM-1000 microphone, Alcorn McBride V-Page, Attero Tech Zip4 and Audix Network Device Control DN4 and DN43 microphone interfaces.

Intelligent Modules allow Symetrix Composer to provide the same level of native control previously available only for Symetrix DSP devices to Symetrix Input and Output devices, and hardware not from this manufacturer. This includes direct integration with ARC and W series remote controls., Real-time parameter control and access to logical integration.
