The 5575LE is the limited edition, numbered '75th anniversary' version of the iconic cardioid dynamic vocal microphone 55 Unidyne manufactured by Shure, that recreates for collectors the legacy of this system in performances and broadcasts.

The first microphone Shure 55 Unidyne appeared in 1939 in the United States and, since its launch, was adopted internationally as the ideal model for broadcasting, Speeches, two-way radio recordings and communications. Already in the years 50, this system began to be used in musical performances, which increased rapidly in number, to forge the image that has made it a cultural icon.

This mythical microphone fulfilled 75 years in 2014, and to commemorate it Shure announced the launch at the end of that year of a limited edition Unydyne model: the cardiode 5575LE dynamic microphone, which will be available shortly in the Iberian market through Earpro.

Shure 5575LE EarproThis new model is as iconic as the original and includes a number of features selected by Shure to improve its durability and sound quality., such as the cardioid element Unidyne III; a larger outer grille, a beautiful Vintage silkscreen and a zinc bath finish.

The limited edition microphone 5575LE, from which they have been manufactured 5575 units, becoming a jewel for collectors, with certificate of authenticity, supplied with a silver table foot, in a small aluminum flight-case, with the logo of the 75 anniversary.

Shure 5575LE EarproIn addition, so that the celebration of this anniversary is special for everyone, Shure has launched a contest in the main social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) in which ten 5575LE microphones will be raffled.

Those interested will have to send their congratulations from 75 birthday for the 55 Unidyne adding the hashtag #5575Th in one of these networks to enter the draw, in which two trips are also offered to visit Shure's headquarters in Chicago (United States), to be held in the spring of this year.
