A Supernova dnp display helps foster innovative thinking at a Danish academy

The Erhvervsakademi academy installs a large 2-inch dnp Supernova Infinity screen×2, accompanied by a Panasonic PT-DW830 projector, to carry out a project that seeks to create an atmosphere that stimulates innovative thinking among students.

The aim of the Danish business academy Erhvervsakademi Midtvest is to create a stimulating environment, that encourages innovative thinking. Faced with this challenge, Danish AV specialists FMJ's response was to create a 'playful' visual representation based on the Supernova Infinity solution from dnp denmark.

All this is part of a project launched by the Erhvervsakademi academy called Playground, that seeks to extend its innovative thinking to its common area, where students mix with classes. “Innovation is not a course that can be taught at school as just another subject.. It is a way, “a way of thinking and we believe that audiovisual techniques and interior design are good tools to translate this idea into life”, explica Henriette Slebsager, rector of the academy.

FMJ's AV installation is a central part of the project. Its playful solution is based on a dnp screen of 4,8 x 3 metros (223 inches) configured in 2 format×2, that integrates Supernova Infinity screens placed on a special mount. This is accompanied by a DLP projector 1 chip Panasonic PT-DW830.

Knowing that the system would also be used for presentations and conferences in the main room, The screen offers images and videos that support the lighting and colors of the room, which contributes to creating a very innovative atmosphere.

“The great challenge was to create a lifting system that would allow us to lower the screen to obtain better viewing angles during presentations and we had to mount it on a relief supported one hundred percent on the support structure. “, explains Peter Moller Johansen of FMJ.
