Telefónica launches the M2M partner program in Latin America
Manufacturers, Providers and distributors of professional managed connectivity solutions and devices in Latin America can now join the more than five hundred partners assigned to Telefónica's Global M2M Partner Program, which has now spread to this region.
Telefónica Business Solutions, provider of integrated communication solutions for the B2B market, will extend your Programa Global de Partners M2M in Latin America during the present 2015. Since its initial launch a year ago, more than five hundred companies registered in Europe and the United States have contributed to the consolidation of this M2M ecosystem.
The launch of this program in Latin America is the final phase of the global deployment, as it extends its focus to this key market that, according to industry analysts, is expected to grow on a 20% every year until 45 million connections and one billion euros in revenue in 2019.
In this sense, This is a new approach of the Global M2M Partner Program towards the business of managed connectivity, whose objective is to work in collaboration with the main players in the M2M value chain, as device manufacturers, solution providers and distributors, through a simple and structured channel that increases both partner business and Telefónica's managed connectivity sales.
Companies that join this program will benefit from greater commercial visibility and the possibility of scaling their business in Latin America using Telefónica networks., with more than four hundred roaming agreements for optimal national and regional coverage.
Alfonso de Andrés, director of digital channels at Telefónica Digital Channels and responsible for the Global Partner Program worldwide, underlines that its implementation “has proven to be a successful model for managing the connectivity business in Europe and the United States.”. The program is already active in Peru and Mexico and is planned to reach four additional countries (Chile, Colombia, Argentina and Brazil) throughout the first semester of 2015. During the MWC celebration 2015, of the 2 al 5 March in Barcelona, The company will have representatives of this program available to interested companies.
