With the addition of WiFi connection, LCOS and AISYS technologies and a luminosity of 5.000 lumens, The Canon XEED WUX500 installation projector is ideal for use in the educational sector, collaborative environments, museums and visitor attractions.

Canon WUX500

Canon has expanded its line of installation projectors with the incorporation of the XEED WUX500 model, a compact device with WiFi connection.

The XEED WUX500 offers improved presentation flexibility and control, since it allows images to be incorporated into the projection, Video and audio from multiple users wirelessly or through a router. It also works without using a computer, which means presentations can be made directly by connecting a USB to the projector. Thanks to the use of the most advanced technologies and the exclusive trapezoidal correction adjustment in all four corners, Images can be displayed seamlessly using up to nine projectors in 14 different design options, via LAN connection cables.

Its constant brightness throughout the entire zoom range, energy efficiency, improved connectivity, Simple installation and durability make this Canon equipment an ideal solution for a wide range of applications and environments, including engineering and design, simulation and control rooms, conference and executive meeting centers, museums and visitor attractions, as well as the educational sector.

“With the incorporation of Wi-Fi connectivity, new opportunities open up in the field of education, collaboration and information sharing in meetings using projections that provide clear, detailed images, with good contrast and intense colors. Additionally, Advanced PC-free edge blending feature offers a cost-effective solution for bright multi-screen projections, especially for use in museums and places of visitor attraction”, comments Andreas Herrnböck, European Business Development Manager Projector, Visual Communications, Canon Europa

LCOS y AISYS

The XEED WUX500 incorporates LCOS technology with the AISYS optical system (Aspectual Illumination System) by Canon, which allows images to be projected smoothly and continuously, as well as achieving a luminosity of 5.000 color lumens, in addition to offering the high durability required by the installation market. LCOS panel technology uses liquid crystals, resulting in fast images, no distortion, no unwanted effects. For your part, The AISYS system helps achieve maximum performance from a relatively low power lighting source.

The native resolution of the new model is WUXGA (1.920×1.200 pixels), meaning text is easier to read and graphics appear clearer.

The XEED WUX500 incorporates a projection lens with a constant aperture throughout the entire zoom range, allowing the luminosity in the maximum tele adjustment of the zoom focal range to be practically the same as in the maximum wide angle focal range.

Besides, This installation projector supports HDBaseT, standard for connection and transmission of HD content, long distance audio and control signals, using a single LAN cable that can measure up to 100 metros, which improves system configuration.

Durability and energy efficiency

With a total energy consumption of 365 W, This projector offers high efficiency, in addition to having a specific 'ECO' button on the remote control, used to access lamp mode and power management settings.

The XEED WUX500 not only offers low consumption, but also stands out for the long life of its lamp that in Eco mode reaches the 5.000 hours before having to change it.
