Optoma Simplifies AV Installations with the W515 ProScene Projector
Optoma's W515 ProScene WXGA projector is ideal for conference rooms, large classes, museums and places of worship. A team of 6.000 lumens, 1.8x zoom and integrated geometric adjustment.
With his 6.000 lumens, The W515 ProScene projector has been designed by Optoma for use in professional audiovisual installations. This model has multiple digital connection options and a version is available, W515T, with HDBaseT connection.
This WXGA projector from Optoma is equipped with a 1.8x zoom and integrated geometric adjustment. This allows the installer to individually adjust each corner to create a perfectly square image, which makes it ideal for rooms where the walls are irregular. If greater brightness is required, the geometric adjustment can be used for stacking.. This is done by superimposing images, reduces overall installation cost and increases reliability.
For multi-projector screen, Optoma's brightness adaptation feature ensures more precise adjustment to suit different units.
“Both versions of this equipment have a 1.8x zoom with lens 1.26 – 2.26:1, and allow a very simple installation, without the need to use much more expensive interchangeable lenses. The geometric adjustment of the projector eliminates the need for additional image/warping processors and the HDBaseT functionality allows integrators who need to transmit high definition video and audio, have a simple and affordable solution that also allows them to control the projector”, explains Jorge Chavarria, channel manager at Optoma Spain.
Designed for conference rooms, large classes, museums and places of worship, This projector is compact but at the same time very powerful. Chassis design incorporates vertical and horizontal lens shift to ensure maximum flexibility.
Wired remote functionality allows you to control all aspects of the projector individually without having to keep it in view, which is very useful when using multiple units during live events. The W515 is Full 3D (via HDMI 1.4a) for various devices and is equipped with speakers that provide 20W and an audio output to allow connection to external sound systems.
Optoma provides full support for Crestron protocols, Extron, AMX, PJ-Link and Telnet LAN allowing almost all functions to be controlled remotely over a network. Once installed, The equipment can be monitored and controlled via LAN. You can also provide email alerts if an error occurs, a lamp fails or needs to be changed using Crestron Roomview software.
