Sony expands its line of professional 3LCD projectors for education and business
New additions to Sony's line of professional projectors include two sets of 3.800 lumens, VPL-EX315 y VPL-EW315, and three of 4.200 lumens, VPL-EW348, VPL-EW345 y VPL-EX345.
Sony has presented five new models that are part of its range of professional projectors, designed to offer high quality images, high gloss color and white, and greater flexibility in a wide variety of commercial applications, business and educational. New features include 3LCD VPL-EX315 models, VPL-EX345, VPL-EW315, VPL-EW345 y VPL-EW348.
The VPL-EX315 and VPL-EW315 projectors have a brightness of 3.800 lumens and the rest of 4.200 lumens. All use the BrightEra panel to reproduce vivid, natural colors in brightly lit rooms at WXGA resolutions (VPL-EW348, VPL-EW315 y VPL-EW345) y XGA (VPL-EX315 y VPL-EX345).
Each model has two HDMI ports to offer greater connectivity with the new digital devices emerging in the professional audiovisual market..
Besides, The VPL-EW348 incorporates an HDBaseT interface to facilitate connectivity and reduce total system costs. HDBaseT capabilities allow installers and integrators to reduce the number of cable runs used for video transmission, audio, control and IP over a single Cat5e/6 cable for maximum 100 metros. Less cable usage means fewer signal extenders and receivers, thus reducing the risk of points of failure.
New models are designed to extend lamp life and reduce total cost of operations, to deliver optimal energy efficiency with low energy consumption.
The lamp life can be extended to a maximum of about 10.000 hours, depending on the mode selected.
Other energy-efficient features include Sony's automatic lamp dimming, by which the projector intelligently detects if it has been left on, receiving a static signal. When this signal is detected, The lamp can be dimmed to a certain percentage of the original brightness, after certain user-defined time intervals.
When using the network presentation and remote control functions, a tablet or smartphone can control the projectors. Each model incorporates a speaker 16 W and is designed to operate silently, with a bass of 29 dB and a treble of 35 dB. Thanks to an input tag function, it is possible to structure the connected equipment.
These devices continue Sony's approach of offering customers flexibility in installation, with lateral access to the lamp to facilitate maintenance work. The projector's compact design 4 approximately kilos also makes it a comfortable option for portable use.
