An interactive 3D mapping, protagonist of the 10th edition of the EuBea in Seville

A three-dimensional interactive mapping, developed by Acciona in collaboration with BackBird, became the big attraction at the European Best Event Awards 2015. a projection, made on a sculpture of 12×5 metros, in which real-time graphics merge with interactivity and which has allowed unlimited user participation.

The 10th edition of the European Best Event Awards festival (EuBea) 2015, held in Seville between the 5 and the 7 November, was the framework chosen by Acciona Productions and Design to present the three-dimensional interactive mapping that has been developed in collaboration with BlackBird.

The projection, made on a sculpture of 12 meters long by 5 meters high, was presented to the public after the awards ceremony, at the Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento Hotel and allowed attendees to participate in an interactive game in which they experienced the latest 3D technology.

In this mapping, a futuristic scenario was recreated that invited players to interact simultaneously using laser pointers., enjoying a multimedia experience in real time.

The R&D&I development of this interactive system has allowed us to combine a powerful real-time rendering engine, equal to that of the latest generation video games, with a large number of devices capable of interacting with laser projection, sound, presence, infrared, tactile, etc.

The control, The speed of response generation and the unlimited participation of users in a three-dimensional environment is the novelty of this system.

In addition to the presentation of the interactive mapping, Acciona Producciones y Diseño has participated in the European Best Event Awards for the second consecutive year, along with other companies associated with the Seville Congress & Convention Bureau, carrying out the design and production of the 'Find your partner' networking area, aimed at putting large European agencies in contact with supplier companies in the sector.

The European Best Event Awards Festival is the most important meeting of the events sector in Europe and each year recognizes the best creative event and marketing agencies, and to their clients.

In its tenth edition it has brought together in Seville more than 350 professionals in a three-day meeting that combined conferences, meetings and training sessions with the awards ceremony itself. This year a total of 290 candidatures submitted by 122 agencies from 21 european countries.
