Epson, TicForYou and the UPV collaborate to bring augmented reality closer to citizens
The Entrepreneur Center of the Gandía Campus of the UPV will promote, between students and spin-offs, the development of augmented reality applications supported by Epson's Moverio smartglasses.
Epson has signed a collaboration agreement with TicForYou and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) with the aim of developing augmented reality applications that optimize the efficiency of processes in companies and allow the creation of new ways of bringing this technology closer to citizens..
The agreement between the three parties allows us to count on Epson's support technology, the development and research of UPV applications and the dissemination of these developments among companies throughout Spain through TicForYou.
This initiative has started with the signing of the framework collaboration agreement and the delivery of the Moverio smartglasses by Epson. In this way, students and entrepreneurs from the Gandía Campus of the UPV, in collaboration with research staff, you can now work with them.
“These types of collaboration agreements are in line with our commitment to innovation. We support young entrepreneurs by providing valuable hardware such as Moverio smartglasses, that will revolutionize the way we run businesses today and in the future. We hope that real solutions will emerge from this bank of ideas and that in a short time we will be talking about new companies and consolidated developments”, says Roger Artigues, commercial manager of Epson Ibérica.
