Samsung prepares its Smart TVs 2016 for IoT and connects them to SmartThings
Samsung has developed its own IoT hub technology with SmartThings for SUHD televisions 2016, offering advanced and intuitive functionality, as well as complete connectivity between more than 200 devices.
Samsung Electronics has announced that its line of Smart TV televisions 2016 will be ready for the Internet of Things (IoT) and connected with the open platform SmartThings, which allows users to connect, manage and control smart devices and IoT services.
Within the Samsung Smart TV range 2016, all Samsung SUHD TVs 2016 will have integrated IoT hub technology, which will allow the television itself to act as the control center of the smart home.
SUHD TVs can connect to and control Samsung devices and SmartThings sensors, as well as others 200 SmartThings compatible devices.
This includes everything from lights, doors and chambers, from a wide variety of third party manufacturers. To achieve full connectivity support with SmartThings compatible devices, SmartThings Extend USB adapter required.
In CES 2016 from las vegas, which will be celebrated from 6 al 9 January, Samsung will show the future of television and demonstrate how Samsung Smart TVs are at the center of the IoT ecosystem.
SmartThings allows users to access all smart devices directly from a smartphone and Samsung SUHD TV, instead of having to control devices individually with different apps. With the SmartThings app, it is possible to connect and manage smart home devices and services, through a single and simple user interface.
With an outdoor camera connected to your Samsung Smart TV, You can check when visitors arrive and open the front door directly from the sofa. Motion sensor alerts can also pop up directly on the TV screen, if movement is detected outside, providing greater security and peace of mind, whether you are inside or outside.
