The manufacturer has expanded with two new models -DMPS3-4K-50 and DMPS3-4K-100-C- which join their award-winning line of DMPS3-4K ‘no programming’ integrated presentation systems, that the company has shown in Las Vegas during InfoComm 2016.

The DigitalMedia 3-Series range of integrated presentation systems from Crestron has been expanded with two new models designed especially for single screen applications, that make up an integrated Control System solution, analog and digital audiovisual switching, 4K scaler and direct LAN connectivity with Crestron Fusion network management software.

Crestron has presented these new systems during its recent participation in InfoComm 2016. The DMPS3-4K series, Designed and priced for a single room or for mass deployment at a university or large company, offers out-of-the-box functionality, Simple web-based configuration and network deployment.

The DMPS3-4K-50 system provides the ideal solution for connecting local sources to a local display, while DMPS3-4K-100-C is designed to connect local sources to an expanded display, and DMPS3-4K-150-C for connecting remote sources to an expanded display.

All models in the series integrate Crestron's .AV Framework technology that offers, among other functions, automatic switching; Plug-and-play installation with Connect It junction boxes from this manufacturer; automatic screen activation/deactivation via CEC, and smart connectivity with the company's AirMedia presentation gateway for wireless BYOD capability.

Easy setup from touch screen or laptop

By using the .AV Framework from the touch screen or web-based tool, the user has the possibility of carrying out a complete and simple system configuration, such as choosing fonts and display control and automatically generating the touch screen interface to deliver an intuitive and consistent user experience in every room, no programming required.

To obtain a higher level of integration and management, Cresnet presence sensors and direct communication with Crestron Fusion are also managed using the .AV Framework without the need to write code.

HDMI Auto Switcher and Extender

Also in InfoComm 2016, Crestron has shown HD-MD-400-C-E at its stand, A new low-cost HDMI auto switch and extender set for easy, reliable presentation in meeting rooms and classrooms.

Crestron HD-MD-400-C-E includes an HDBaseT extension, a scaler for optimal image display for HD resolutions up to 2K, automatic switching, Auto screen on/off via CEC and Ethernet connectivity, all this in a set of compact and easy-to-implement devices.

Crestron HD-MD-400-C-EComposed of a compact transmitter and receiver, This system can be installed in minutes and requires no special programming, since the transmitter can be placed under a table or inside a lectern. With two HDMI inputs and one VGA/analog audio input, It is compatible with older and HD laptops.

The receiver can be placed under the living room screen or above the projector, and has an additional HDMI input, which can be used to connect a Crestron AirMedia wireless presentation gateway (AM-100) or wall mount the DM transmitter.

Both devices receive power from a single wall-mounted power pack (included with system), which can be plugged into the receiver or transmitter location. Power flows between both through the HDBaseT connection.

in a meeting, the participant simply plugs in their laptop or smart device and the content will automatically appear on the screen thanks to synchronization detection, without the need for a control system or touch display.

Many of the displays on the market cannot handle the different formats and resolutions that can be found in a dynamic presentation environment.. In this sense, HD-MD-400-C-E is designed with built-in scaling to support a full range of analog and digital signals, ensuring that all sources are displayed reliably and with good image quality.
