The Open Camp merges the real and virtual with an installed base of more than 200 screens
This theme park is equipped with a complete viewing infrastructure made up of video walls, totems, monitors for signage and indoor video scoreboards, as well as outdoor Led screens. The recently inaugurated Open Camp of Montjuïc (Barcelona), the first park in the world dedicated to sports, has been endowed with a deployment of almost 200 screens, including video walls, totems, monitors for signage and indoor video scoreboards, as well as outdoor Led screens. Located in the facilities of the Barcelona Olympic Ring, The Open Camp offers experiences and entertainment associated with sport, using the latest technologies to make possible an attractive mix between the virtual and the real.
The idea is that visitors can experience first-hand the emotions of participating in sports disciplines of all kinds in real settings where some of the greatest legends of sport have competed., as if they were participating in a real competition, with all the technological and environmental elements that make it up.

Samsung has been the exclusive supplier of all Open Camp display technology, in addition to being a sponsor of the field. Eikonos has been responsible for the installation and commissioning of all the equipment.
The first Open Camp display can be seen outside the park, on top of the lockers. It is an outdoor Led screen in linear format. 35 meters long by 0,9 meters high and 10 mm pixel pitch covering an area of 32 square meters and plays an informative role for newcomers.
Inside the field, The Open Hall welcomes the visitor with almost 80 Samsung UD55E-P screens that cover the lobby in different video walls, providing information about the park's attractions, informative videos and advertising content from the main sponsors.
There are also a large number of high-luminosity screens and totems spread throughout the park that serve as signage to guide visitors and provide information about the different Open Camp attractions., as well as restaurants, bars and shops. Samsung screens also play a key role in animating the experiences offered by the park.. Such is the case of Open Basket, the first interactive basketball court in Europe, which is one of the most spectacular and technological attractions of Open Camp. The space has one of the largest video walls in the park, formed by 18 screens of 55 inches UD55E-P. In this close-up video-marker 1.000 inches, annotations and compared classifications are displayed in real time.
Another of the park's star experiences is Open Moto, where visitors can enjoy the sensation that a pilot experiences when driving a competition motorcycle. All Open Camp displays are managed by Samsung's MagicInfo content management software, offering complete control of multimedia content.
