The digital solution for the Swedish decoration chain has been developed entirely by this intelligent retail specialist, and is based on a wayfinding application to offer the customer the best journey for their purchase integrated into a digital totem with touch screen and printer.

The Ikea chain has once again taken a step forward to improve the shopping experience of customers in its Spanish facilities, with a solution developed by OINeo, the intelligent retail division of Neo Advertising (more data in Digital AV Magazine) and which is based on the customer guidance initiative, with the integration in a digital kiosk of an application with wayfinding functions.

As far as the hardware structure is concerned, each digital kiosk consists of a touch screen of 18 Inch, an Intel i3 player and HP printer, all integrated into a piece of furniture designed specifically for this project, with a design and image according to the Ikea brand.

The system features the interactive Ikea Journey app, with wayfinding functions for the customer to consult the best journey according to their purchase interests, plus offer you shortcut options to make the whole process easier if you're short on time, and propose the best route to get to the product you want or the box, providing you with the option to print this tour or send it to your email to consult it on your mobile device.

This 'customer journey' project has been started at the Ikea centre in Malaga, and kiosks have been located at the entrances of the store and in some areas with greater affluence and demand, as salons, textile, accessories and self-service. The installation, hardware and software configuration, the content management and technical maintenance of the entire system has been carried out by Neo.
