The combination of a ultra-panoramica aspect ratio, light engine, short throw lens laser and touch technology, make this projector a suitable equipment for use in visitor centers, warehouses, videoconferences and classrooms.

Optoma ZH300UW

The latest addition of Optoma its range ProScene is the ultra-short projection ZH300UW system. Equipment designed with laser technology, suitable for use in AV applications, corporate and educational environments.

With a light source rather than traditional projector lamp-solid state laser, the ZH300UW produces a brightness of 3000 lumens and a level of contrast of 10.000:1. In addition to offering great colors, the laser engine eliminates the cost of replacement of lamps and has a shelf life of up to 20,000 hours.

The native resolution of the projector is 1.920 × 720 pixels, with a proportion of 16:6, capable of adapting to two images side by side 4:3. In video conferencing, it is possible to show both sides of the conversation with a single projector.

The versatility of this team of Optoma extends even further by the lens of ultra short range which has a ratio of 0, 25:1, which means that a 120 image can be shown from a distance of projection of 72 cm.

The ZH300UW can be mounted on the wall and its short-range imply that presenter will be not dazzled by the projector, or will issue its shadow on the image.

Features have been enhanced by the inclusion of Optoma touch technology, which is an interactive experience. This technology uses a touch beam built into the Chamber together with a laser module to detect the touch of several different people. Graphs and diagrams are recorded with only one finger, without a whiteboard or a ballpoint pen.

Thanks to the solid state light source, the projector is capable of operating in some unusual positions, including landscape and the projection down. The first of these options produce the possibility of tall, narrow, images suitable for digital signage in retail environments, while the second allows the projection on a floor, suitable for museums and visitor centres.

"The combination of a ultra-panoramica aspect ratio, lenses throw short, laser light and touch technology makes the product is highly adaptable to different environments. Visitor centers, warehouses, video conferencing facilities and classrooms are examples of environments that will be transformed by this projector,"says Juan Antonio Calvo, Country Manager of Optoma Spain.

For businesses and schools that have multiple projectors, the ZH300UW is compatible with systems from Crestron, AMX and Extron, enabling a thorough control of the nearly all of the functions of the projector via the network.
