Twelve Spot Led Satura Spot CMY Pro moving heads and another twelve Led WW Profile cutouts were installed at the United Nations General Assembly for the 'World Humanitarian Day Concert'.

The lighting designer Christien Methot has been responsible for the lighting of the 'World Humanitarian Day Concert' event that took place at the United Nations General Assembly in New York and is celebrated in recognition of all the people in the world who dedicate their efforts to humanitarian actions..

Together with the company Design-One Lighting Design, lighting material supplier, and with One Dream Sound as producer of this project, were used 24 appliances Elation Professional, brand represented by Visualsvisuals, for the different musical performances and in the speeches of people from all over the world recognized for their humanitarian work.

Sweet cutouts Led WW (Warm White) Profile have provided front lighting to the General Assembly stage for both musical performances and speeches, from the galleries of this enclosure and also from truss towers positioned on the sides of the room.

The WW Profile ellipsoidal projector has a warm white LED module (3.000° Kelvin) of 130 watts of power, a value C.R.I. (Color Rendering Index) of 94, cuchillas-framing shutters, manual focus and different optics apertures (19, 26, 36 y 50 degrees).

With its extremely sharp projection and no hot spots (hotspots), The WW Profile is ideal for general stage lighting and texture projections thanks to its ability to use B size gobos..

Besides, 12 Spot type Led moving heads Elation Satura Spot CMY Pro, were used, mainly, to project animated and colored textures on the walls of this room. “Both the CMY color mix and the selection of gobos that the Satura Spot CMY Pro incorporates have given a great result in this production”, explica Methot.

The Led Spot Satura Spot CMY Pro moving head has a white light Led module of 320 watts (for a luminosity of 11.700 lumens), CMY color mix and 7 dichroic colors, plus motorized zoom with an aperture of 14 a 36°, 6+7 gobos, prism of 3 sides and frost filter, as well as Ethercon/RJ45 connectors for use with the ArtNet lighting protocol.

“By not having used dimmers for this event, thanks to the LED technology of the WW Profile and the Satura Spot CMY Pro, we have achieved a quick and efficient assembly in this General Assembly room., minimizing wiring runs”, adds Christien Methot .
