Dubai Festival City wins its second Guinness with the screening of 'A Child's Dream'’
The first was for the largest water projection in the world, now for the largest permanent mapping. For the staging of the latter, 60 PT-DZ21K2E equipment from Panasonic that covers an area of 4.857 square meters.
The latest multimedia attraction that has been installed in the shopping center Dubai Festival City and that is part of the show Imagine, 'A child's dream' (Child’s Dream), It has entered the Guinness of Records as the largest permanent projection in the world. A show that has the most advanced light technology, laser and sound, and has been carried out in collaboration with Laservision, creators of the show.
Imagine is the daily attraction offered by Dubai Festival City where you can see two shows that have entered the Guinness World Records: the largest water screen projection in existence (obtained in December 2016) and the world's largest permanent projection mapping that just got.
Some shows that combine the latest entertainment technology in the water, pyrotechnics, lasers, lights and special effects. A sensory experience harnesses the power of light, water and fire, along with giant aquatic screens, 30 fountains and surround sound to connect with the audience and produce a spectacular show.
Imagine is one of the most spectacular entertainment attractions in Dubai. The sources of 360 degrees, powerful lasers, projections on water, Colorful LED lighting and video mapping at the InterContinental Hotel combine to produce one of the most technologically advanced shows in the world.
The total area of the spectacle that achieved the first Guinness record consists of 6 Aqua screens 36 meters wide by 13 high and in it they have been used 70 PT-DZ21K2E projectors Panasonic.
for the second, 'A child's dream', are used more than 60 projectors of the same model, supplied in both cases by the company Al Futtaim Panatech, that produce 1,4 millions of lumens of light, to cover 4.857 square meters of projection area on the facade of InterContinental Dubai Festival City. In total there are 15 Synchronized project zones via Laservision XHD video servers.
The PT-DZ21K2E projector is a 20.000 lumens that has been designed to work in multiple television environments along with LED screen display systems and professional sound systems, making it an ideal option for large-scale events. It has been one of the advanced digital solutions provided by Panasonic for events such as the Olympic Games or the Moscow Festival of Lights.
Laservision has created two productions for this great show. The first was 'Stardancer', an artistic adventure that combines classical and contemporary dance with AV effects.
The second, 'A child's dream', takes the audience on a journey through the imagination of a little one with airplanes, magical whales and giant robots; in a show that fuses the mix of modern pop movements, rock and electronic music. A mapping that is reflected on the facade of the Intercontinental Hotel on an ultra high definition projection surface (UHD), and 450% bigger than the world's largest IMAX screen.
