Virtualware has signed a collaboration agreement with Telethon Chile to continue promoting remote rehabilitation through the VirtualRehab platform. This solution seeks to bring therapies closer to families who live in areas far from care centers..
Teletón has developed the project 'Teletón en Tu Comuna', initiative consisting of remote therapeutic sessions, through the implementation of a virtual rehabilitation space in community rehabilitation centers, family health centers and comprehensive rehabilitation rooms. The information is monitored from a Telethon Institute of geographic correspondence.
Since the beginning of this initiative, Teleton has the VirtualRehab platform to capture patient movements, through sensors such as Microsoft Kinect y Leap Motion, that record and send the information to a database in the cloud, remaining at the disposal of therapists, who evaluate and analyze the data to generate the corresponding sessions.
The objective of this project is to bring care closer to patients, maintaining continuity in your treatments, without having to travel long distances to receive your therapies.
