Elo expands its line of POS touch screens with a 15 model″ and aspect ratio 4:3
The E-Series 15E3 is an all-in-one device with a projected capacitive screen that includes a fanless computer equipped with the Intel Celeron J1900 Quad-Core processor with 4 GB of memory and storage 128 GB. This multifunctional system is ideal for use in retail and hospitality environments.
Link Touch has unveiled E-Series 15E3 all-in-one display solution, It is a touch screen 15 inches that incorporates a computer and is ideal for use in retail stores and hospitality companies. Its design allows it to be integrated into any interior environment.
The screen of this device is equipped with transparent glass, easy to clean, incorporating Elo TouchPro Pro-G and AccuTouch five-wire resistive touch technologies. Fanless cooling design ensures quiet, dust-free operation, while easy access to main components allows for quick and convenient service. The new 15E3 adds an RJ12 port, allowing direct connection between the cash drawer and the POS terminal.
“The multifunctional E-Series have proven to be affordable touch screen point-of-sale devices., compact and commercial. Clients require an aspect ratio 4:3 for many retail applications. With this new model, This family now offers both standard appearance 4:3 (15E3) as a panoramic view 16:9 (15E2) to retailers”, explains John Lamb, Elo Marketing Director.
Cinemex, a Cineplex company based in Mexico, employs Elo Touch E-Series touchscreen systems in more than 300 theaters in Mexico and is expanding its use in the United States. “Providing an optimal customer experience and achieving optimal operation at the point of sale is essential for growing companies.. The E-Series touch screen devices were key to the expansion we carried out last year”, comments Saúl Pérez, IT director of Cinemex.
Powered by an Intel Celeron J1900 Quad-Core processor with 4 GB of memory and solid state storage 128 GB, The 15E3 offers high performance and connectivity to third-party peripherals through four USB ports, two serial and one VGA output. The latter allows us to offer a customer-oriented screen that drives advertising, increased sales and participation in collection areas. All 15E3 connections are hidden, featuring a clean appearance and additional protection against accidental disconnection.
New touchscreen computer joins Elo's range of point-of-sale equipment, which already includes the X-Series and I-Series line. The first offers modularity at scale according to business needs and incorporates the AiO Elo PayPoint platform with fully integrated functionalities, including a rotating touch screen, barcode reader, receipt printer and customer-facing display. The second includes Wallaby rotating stand with built-in space for a printer and the flexibility of mPOS architecture for optimal business performance.
