To improve the workplace and increase efficiency, BWL embarked on a project to optimize communications with its more than 700 employees.
“Lansing Board of Water & Light conducted an extensive site survey of all of its buildings and power plants. Its objective was to extend visual communications to as many team members as possible.”, explains Loren Bucklin CTO and VP of ConnectedSign.
To respond to the requirements of this project ConnectedSign has created a digital signage network, which they have called Hometown People Television (HPTV) and involves and informs BWL employees. More than 50 screens of different sizes in all spaces, ensuring optimal coverage for work environments.
When designing signs, Insoles feature multiple zones that house important safety reminders, human resources news and internal videos of the company's operation. A detailed weather page keeps employees aware of critical weather updates.
