As part of a light show held last Sunday 7 of January in the CES 2018 from las vegas, Intel flew one hundred Shooting Star mini drones simultaneously. With this initiative he has managed to break a new record Guinness.

The Intel Shooting Star is the company's first drone designed and built entirely to produce indoor light shows. It has been designed with safety and creativity in mind, with an ultralight structure and protections on the propellers. Your light source can generate more than 4.000 millions of color combinations designed to produce visually stunning air shows.

This drone is the counterpart to the Intel Shooting Star model, which has already lit up night skies around the world during music festivals like Coachella, prestigious sporting events, Asia-wide celebrations and other events.

The new Intel Indoor Location System that controls Intel Shooting Star mini drones expands the entertainment possibilities offered by the company, by allowing drones to maintain position and navigate venues without the need for GPS to create beautiful light shows.

Intel had previously set a Guinness record by flying 500 Intel Shooting Star drones simultaneously outdoors 7 October 2016, in Hamburg, Germany. At that time, Intel surpassed its own previous record of one hundred drones, established less than a year before.
