Soundcraft Vi1000: audio power and control with 96 channels in compact size
The new Soundcraft digital console, de Harman Professional, offers greater performance and optimized operation in a much smaller format.
Harman Professional Solutions has just presented the new Vi1000 digital mixing console to the market. Soundcraf, that despite significantly reducing its size, retains all the mixing and processing capacity of the two 'largest' consoles in the range:Vi2000 y Vi3000, and is specially designed for live touring, auditoriums and corporate audiovisual applications.

With Soundcraft's Vistonics II interface, along with FaderGlow, This console combines the operating principles and workflows of the Vi3000 models, Vi5000 y Vi7000 con SpiderCore, a powerful technology-based DSP and I/O engine Studer, which offers floating point processing 40 bits for superior audio quality.
On the Vi1000 console, available in the Spanish market through Earpro, can become an additional remote control surface for any of the top-of-the-range systems through its mirror function.
In addition to noise gate and compression functions in the 96 canales, Audio processing includes the DPR901ii dynamic equalizer BSS and a Lexicon multi-effects via a plug-in processing module, to which is added the ability to insert up to 64 external devices. It also integrates the Studer vMIX automatic voice mixing algorithm and has BSS graphic equalizers 966 on all departure buses.
The rear panel of the Vi1000 is provided with sixteen mic/line inputs; equal number of line outputs and two expansion slots 64 channels to connect up to two Madi stage racks, which in turn also facilitate the incorporation of optional D21m I/O cards. This is completed by four AES/EBU I/O channels, along with USB and MIDI connections, so the console has 212 tickets and 212 Departures.
As in the rest of the Vi000 series consoles, An integrated 64x64 channel Dante/Madi interface facilitates a direct Ethernet record/playback connection to any Windows or Mac-based recording software, or also integrate it into an existing Dante network.
The Madi optical interface offers an alternative signal to compatible recording equipment, and also allows connection of Soundcraft's Realtime Rack Plug-in engine, adding the power of UAD plug-insT from Universal Audio to the console's extensive range of sounds.
Thanks to the Vi1000's built-in monitoring for wireless microphone systems AKG, Shure y Sennheiser It is very easy to check aspects such as battery charge, RF levels and frequencies, the audio level and clipping status of wireless microphones connected directly to the channel controlled by each microphone.
