Leyard and Planar define in ISE 2018 technological innovation in pixel pitch
Reducing up to 0,7 mm. its size, but without forgetting the traditional standard, six new LED and LCD display systems are the assets of Leyard and Planar's success at ISE 2018.
He standing by Leyard y Planar in WHEREAS 2018, decorated with LED screens from the Carbon Light series, has had intense activity from professionals interested in learning about its proposal, which this year has been marked by six new technological launches. of them, Christian Orcin, VP. of product marketing for EMEA Leyard – Planar, highlights DirectLight 2, a 4K Led screen based on a cabinet 0,7 mm de pixel pitch, “designed for corporate applications, meeting and control rooms, with front installation”.
Faced with continuous innovation in reducing pixel size, Leyard has also returned to his standard. “For many years we have focused on providing the finest pixel and high LED technology., and this year we have presented a range of products dedicated to our standard”, Orcin points out.
In this sense, The VersaLight series is based on a 24x48mm module, a platform that has internal pixel pitch (con 2,5, 4 y 6mm) and exterior (con 4, 6 y 8mm). In the Planar range, innovation focuses on the new Clarity Matrix G3, which is not only a common video wall system, but ticket management (up to eight per module).
Another first of the contest has been LDI Multitouch, a touch solution for LED screens, “in which we integrate a touch frame based on IR technology with our fine pixel Led screens in a single product. To protect the Led surface, We have patented the plastic surface that is applied to the cabinets, that does not even affect colorimetry, no contrast, no viewing angle”.
