InfinitySet 3 will show the advantages of hyper-realistic augmented reality in 4K at NAB 2018
New version of Brainstorm's InfinitySet virtual studio system brings hyper-realistic augmented reality in 4K, with elements perfectly synchronized with the real content.
Brainstorm will show in NAB 2018, of the 7 al 12 April in Las Vegas (stand SL4616), the recent version 3 de InfinitySet, who will star in the main theater show, focused on hyper-realistic augmented reality technology and in-context graphics based on external data.
During this event, “InfinitySet will not only demonstrate why it is the most advanced mixed reality and virtual studio solution, but also how its Combined Render Engine with Unreal Engine Epic Games and its improved integration with Aston can provide spectacular results in creating program content using virtual studios and 3D graphics”, as the company points out.
An example of this has been the use of InfinitySet, with hyper-realistic augmented reality in 4K, during the broadcast of the opening ceremony of the Winter Games 2018 of Pyeongchang by CJ&EM, with intensive use of its Combined Render Engine, which combines Brainstorm's eStudio rendering engine with Epic Games' Unreal Engine.
During said broadcast, Particle effects and other augmented reality elements were synchronized and perfectly adjusted to the real content, turning what was already a spectacular live performance into a stunning piece of art made available to audiences around the world.
Another of its innovations is the improvement of the graphics workflow thanks to greater integration between InfinitySet and Aston, so that the first can integrate and control graphics of the second, including its animations and logical structure, improving creation, management and use of graphic content for applications such as augmented and mixed reality.
For Ricardo Montesa, CEO and founder of Brainstorm, “InfinitySet has always explored the limits of innovation in virtual reality, and with the version 3 we have achieved a crucial goal: make it difficult for the audience to determine whether images coming from Brainstorm equipment are real or digitally generated. Our Combined Render Engine can provide users with the best of both worlds”.
